Project Summary
Project includes removal and replacement of the multi-purpose athletic field, sports lighting system, both basketball courts, and playground equipment; new electronic scoreboard; lighting retrofits for the basketball courts, tennis courts, and park restrooms; resurfacing and restriping of the tennis courts; new pickleball courts with fencing and lighting retrofits; new park lighting, walking paths, ADA improvements, and bicycle connections; repaving and restriping of the parking lot on the west side of the park; landscaping and drainage improvements; public safety cameras; park signage; trash receptacles and recycling containers; picnic tables, benches and shade structures.

Past 2 Weeks
- Continued construction on the bicycle and pedestrian path located on the East side of the park
- Continued construction on the basketball and pickleball courts
- Installed additional chain link fence at the tennis courts
- Installed the remaining fiber at the playground
2 Week Look Ahead
- Finish the construction of the bicycle and pedestrian path located on the East side of the park
- Pave the parking lot West of S. U Ave
- Prep and stain the concrete around the restrooms
- Repair SOD around the sports court and pedestrian pathway
Locations Impacted
- No streets will be impacted at this time
- The West side of El Toyon Park and the adjacent parking lot will be closed for construction
- The East side of El Toyon Park will remain open, with the areas of construction designated & cautioned off as needed
