The project is situated on the north side of Paradise Creek at Plaza Boulevard and Paradise Valley Road. The first phase of the project conveyed storm water flows collected from Paradise Creek to a biofiltration detention basin for treatment. This phase of the project included the installation of slope stability and erosion control measures surrounding the biofiltration basin that included native trees, shrubs, mulch, and drought tolerant landscaping to reduce the sediment pollutant loads from entering the biofiltration basin during and after a storm event.
